My cute Grandpa had a hip replacement a couple weeks ago and is down at a rehabilitation center so we went to see him while we were in Brigham.

This part was the best part of Trick or Treating....Lilly was so mad at us cause we didn't take her to a Haunted House, but after this short moment of being chased up the street by a chainsaw guy it just proved there was no way she would have made it through a whole haunted house...it was hilarious. Love that girl, but she isn't as tough as she claimed to be...she wouldn't talk to us the rest of the night because she was so mad at us for letting the chainsaw guy chase her...Hope you all had a Happy Halloween:)

Anniversary 2010

Brandon and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on August 18th...Brandon took me to Anniversary Inn in Logan and we stayed in Juliet's Balcony. It was very beautiful and so romantic we had alot of fun getting away...I love him more and more everyday and I am so happy to have him in my life....

I know its been forever that I posted, but my computer has not been working great so I didn't have the patience to deal with it....hopefully I will be better:)

Oh my gosh do I have a daughter old enough to have a school dance??!!! Guess so...we just registered her for junior high and I am having a hard time getting used to the fact that my daughter is going to be in junior high. She is growing up way too fast and it just seems to make me feel older and older everyday. She had so much fun at her dance. She has such a fun group of friends and is doing very well in school. She had to take a special test with some other kids in all the other schools that will be attending the same junior high because she has such high scores on all the major math tests. And so now she is starting junior high taking Algebra instead of Pre-Algebra. She sure didn't get her math skills from me cause I think I only took the math required to graduate from high school cause I was so horrible at it.

I know this isn't much of an update, but Lilly actually uploaded the pics for me. Hope all is well with all of you and your families....hopefully I will post some other fun stuff soon.

My Father-in-law took these awesome pictures of our girls. I am having a big canvas printed up for their new room that they got for Christmas. So we started this bathroom project like 4 months ago. It was long overdue. We had so much mold underneath the vinyl tiles that were in there. It was awful. Well we finally got a our new vanity yesterday. It looks so so AWESOME! Thank you sweetie for all your hard work and thanks to my father-in-law for the help with the tile! The cabinet shop did so good and they were so inexpensive. Yay we have our main bathroom back.

The Air Show

We went to the Air Show and met up with some others there. Our friends Chris, Nancy, and Bryston, my dad, and my best freind from grade school Becky. We had alot of fun! The kids enjoyed it alot. There were tons of people though and it was very hot!

For Father's Day we sent Brandon on a treasure hunt. The kids had so much fun with it. I think Brandon did too! Happy Father's Day to him and all the Dad's in my life!

Fourth of July

For the 4th we had some family over for a barbeque and just did fireworks at our house. Brandon's brother Calvin came home for the weekend to visit. It was so good to see him. The kids and Brandon and alot of fun playing with fireworks.

Lilly's Birthday

Lilly turned 11 on the 13th of July. She is getting so old and so big. She wanted fancy cupcakes for her birthday and this is the best I could do. Happy Birthday Lil!

Kim & Alyssa's Birthday

Kim and Alyssa's Birthday was July 23rd. We went camping for my mother-in-laws birthday. I made her a scrapbook with just alot of pictures from over the years. Then we had a party for Alyssa's at home. She wanted Tinkerbell cupcakes. So I tried. Alyssa turned 7. Happy Birthday Lys and Kim!

Brandon and I went with his parents and his brother Christopher to San Antonio for his little brother Calvin's Basic Training Graduation and we had the funnest time. We had alot of events going on with the graduation which was an AWESOME experience! It was so AMAZING to see the change in Calvin in just 8 weeks. We were so proud of him and his Flight. They got the Warrior Flight Award which means they were a record breaking Flight. It was really neat to be apart of the whole expereince. When all the graduation stuff was over we went playing for a couple of days.

The first day we went to The River Walk which was so so BEAUTIFUL! The next day we went to Sea World which I think was one of my favorites. I love Sea World and I always have. It was fun to see how things were different at The Sea World in San Antonio. I love all the fun shows they do. Then after Sea World ate at this place that my mom's boss had told us to go to. It was called Rudy's and it was right by Sea World. WOW! It was so awesome! We actually joked around on the way home wondering if we could just get take out from there in Utah and have them ship some food to us. It was by far the best barbeque place to eat at.

The last day we went to The Alamo. In my mind I pictured the Alamo to be out in a desert or something, but no downtown San Antonio with the whole downtown built around it. It was way cool to see.

We had so much fun! I want to thank my in-laws for an AMAZING time and my husband for the plane ticket he got for me for his Birthday (he is the BEST)! Love you guys!

So for Easter we went to my parents in Brigham for a party on Saturday. We had dinner and then went bowling since the weather was too crappy for 'egg hunting'. It was tons of fun! My brother and his family came up from Lehi and it was good to see them all. We all went to see my Grandma after cause she is in an assisted living place. She was quite the comedian and it was good to see her.

Then Sunday we woke up and let the kids do the Easter thing and then because of lack of time we have had lately we colored eggs on Easter. What better time right?! The kids had a lot of fun. Then later we went to my in-laws for a YUMMY dinner.

Alyssa also lost her front tooth on Saturday morning so she had the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy visit her all in one night. LUCKY!!!!

I seriously am such a pathetic Blogger. I have no time at all, so I do have an excuse. I am staying up later than normal just to post. Brandon's Birthday was the end of March and I never got around to posting anything for it. We had a party at my in-laws house because our bathroom was torn apart (yes another huge project). We had a lot of fun! My parents came down and had dinner with all of us and then stayed for the party. My Hubby is such a young one its crazy to think he just turned 26. Anyway I think he had a good Birthday and he gave up part of his Birthday present and surprised me with a plane ticket to Texas, which I was going to stay behind and not go. So what an AWESOME husband I have! He would do anything for me and the kids. Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Good Luck CJ! We Love You!

Brandon's brother CJ joined the Air Force and left for Basic Training on Tuesday. It has been a very sad week for us and our family. We just wish CJ the Best of Luck and lots of success in the Air Force. We are SO VERY PROUD of him and his accomplishments! He worked so hard to get the job in the Air force that he got. We love you CJ and can't wait to hear from you and how you are doing.

It's hard because Brandon's other brother leaves for basic in another month so we still have to get prepared for that. Brandon's parents threw a party for them this past weekend and we had so much FUN!!! He definately left us with some great memories from that night. We also went out to dinner with him on Monday night and we got a lot of good family pictures. Brandon, his other brother Chris, and his parents went down to see him be sworn in and they got some great pictures there too. WE MISS YOU CJ!

As some of you know I have hated the dentist forever cause I was traumatized as a kid! Wish they had the technology they do now and I could have been put out and not remembered anything. I remember my mom dropped me off at the dentist when I was about 9 and I was so scared I was running around the dental office while they were chasing me trying to get me to sit down. They finally had to call my mom and have her come back and make her sit with me. And still now as an adult I have still had horrible experiences at the dentist. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled when Hayden was a newborn and the dentist could not get it out. He ended up cracking the tooth next to it in the process and plus I got dry socket afterwords. Two years later another dentist ended up pulling the other tooth that got cracked cause it had caused me so much PAIN! So needless to say I HATE the dentist!

So it has always been hard for me to keep up on taking my kids to the dentist cause I know how bad I hate going. I know I am a bad mom when it comes to that, but I would rather give birth than go. Plus it has not helped that for the 4 years before I married Brandon we did not have dental insurance. So now that we do I fianlly took my kids in. Lilly had one small cavity and Hayden had none. But Alyssa on the other hand had 9 cavities to be filled and 2 pulpotimys(root canal on a baby tooth). I was always worried about her cause she hates brushing her teeth let alone flossing them. I felt so bad for her. It made me feel even worse of a mom finding that out. My kids health is one of my top priorities and I knew the only way to make it better and to feel better about the situation was to get it taken care of immedaitely no matter the cost. I was just hoping she had not been in pain cause of it. She had never complained, but you never know. I took her to a pediatric dentist and he did an awesome job. They put her out so she remebered nothing about her visit just that she got to watch Finding Nemo on the ceiling. They actually ended up pulling one tooth that needed a pulpotimy cause they did not think it was worth saving. Thank goodness its just a baby tooth and it will grow back when she is about 11. She has to have a permanent retainer put in though to keep her teeth spaced right until that tooth grows in. SO needless to say I will now make the dentist a HUGE priority in my kids life! Not sure about mine quite yet. Don't get me wrong I do love to brush my teeth and have them clean, but just don't like the dentist.

Alyssa did AWESOME and now makes it a huge priority to brush her teeth and floss them every morning and night. So here is a picture of her that night a couple of hours after. Poor girl.....

I'm sorry Lyssy for putting it off so long. I promise to be better! I love you and am so proud of you! Guess I learned my lesson...

January......Birthdays

Well January has been pretty busy. We went to TOADS for Brandon's cousin's little boys B-day party. The kids had a blast playing.

Then it was both my parents birthdays and we celebrated them by going to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. They sang happy birthday to my parents and made my Dad sit on a saddle while they sang. He was so embarrased so I had to take a picture of it. So Happy Birthday Mom and Dad! It was AWESOME food and we loved it!

Then last but not least we went to Wendover for Brandon's step-moms Birthday and we WON BIG! Yay for us! Hope you all had a great month...

We spent New Years Eve at Brandon's Parents. We had tons of fun playing Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero World Tour and some of the guys played pool. So Happy New Year to all of you!

This is going to be a HUGE post!!!! Our Holidays started out with a trip on The Heber Creeper-The Polar Express. If any of you know my dad he is a HUGE Polar Express fan so he bought us all tickets to go. We went the day before Thanksgiving. It was tons of fun and the kids loved it! I even made my dad a scrapbook of it and had Shutterfly print it up for me. It was his Christmas Present and he LOVED it. I will have to say that Shutterfly did an AMAZING job at printing it up. Thanks DAD!

Then Christmas Eve we went to Brandon's Aunt Deanna's so that the kids could open their presents from her.

We gave the kids their big present from us on Christmas Eve too cause we didn't want to pack it around. It was a computer and they were so excited to get it running.

We went to my parents on Christmas Eve for a party then left there and we went to Mike and Betsy house(good family friends of Brandon's family). We ended up at Brandon's parents where we stayed the night on Christmas eve because Brandon's brothers have both joined the Air Force and we don't know when we will have a Christmas with them again. It was so fun for the kids to stay there though. We opened our presents Christmas morning. I got a new camera from Brandon's parents which was an AWESOME surprise. I needed a new one so bad and it is a really, really nice one. I was so excited. I also got some boots, some jeans and a straightening iron from my parents. Brandon gave me a steamer mop for my floors and I love it too. Brandon and I got a digital picture frame from his parents. Lilly got a pink digital camera, and Alyssa and Hayden got Nintendo DS's. Plus tons more stuff. Brandon got a new cell phone and a IPOD. So I will have to say we got spoiled! Steve made us an AWESOME breakfast and my parents and Joe came down to watch the kids open their gifts and have breakfast with us. It was so nice that we could all be together Christmas morning. We hung out at Brandon's parents all day and ended up getting snowed in that night and stayed there again.

Lilly also got tons of clothes from Aeropostale which is her new favorite place to shop. She also got some cute boots.

So.....I hope you all had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! We sure did.

It was my father-in-laws birthday on Sunday. We had pizza and a party for him. My mother-in-law gave him a new Dewalt miter saw and we gave him a laser to go on it. He opened the laser first and we said we bought it for his old Craftsman saw. He just looked it at and said ya I think that should work on my saw (with a puzzled look of what the h*## are they thinking this will not work on my saw). He was pretty excited to see it was for a new saw. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY Steve! We love you!

The Bedroom is FINALLY done!

Well our bedroom is done for the most part. I still have some decorating I would like to do but it is kind of hard to find decorations at Christmas time. We absolutely love it!!! It is definately our haven to go and relax. I really tried to keep it focused around Brandon and I and tried to give it a romantic feel when you walk in. Both of us have the same favorite color, which is red, so it worked out great. We love our red wall. I also love having a big closet. We have shared a little closet in the extra bedroom for a year and a half now and it sucked. My best friend Tara's mom did our carpet and we love it. Thanks Jill! I made the curtains on Friday night and I love how they turned out. I am so excited to have a place for Brandon and I. He has been so good to do the 'honey do' lists I keep giving him. He bought us this awesome TV so we can just relax and watch movies on nights when the kids are gone. Thank You Sweetie for all your hard work and for remodeling the room with me!!! I love you!!!

5th Grade Thanksgiving Play

So Lilly was in her 5th Grade Thanksgiving play tonight. She was in a indian tribe and was a narrator. We think she is quite the public speaker. She did an AWESOME job. The play was really cute. She has a really really good teacher and I think she did an AMAZING job at getting the kids to perform as well as they did. Good Job Lil! We love you!

Alyssa's New Look

Well I am up to date on my blogging now!!!! I am sorry it has been so long....I actually got up 2 hours earlier today so I could get caught up. We have been remodeling our room for about 3 months now. We have been in the biggest mess and I honestly can't take it anymore. Everything from our bedroom is emptied throughout the house. Everyday I get home from work I fix dinner and go straight to work on the bedroom. And Saturday and Sundays morning til night working on it. I will post more about the room later when it gets done. We are finally getting carpet on Saturday and YAY we are so excited!!! I will be so excited to get organized and out of the mess.

A month ago Lys came home from school with a note from the school notifying me that Alyssa had failed her vision test at school and that I should get her into an eye doctor ASAP. After reading the note I looked at Lys and asked her if she has problems seeing things she replied no Mom I can see just fine. So I asked her about the test and she said she had no problems seeing anything. So then thinking back at her Kindergarten assessment test that she failed cause she refused to talked to her teacher and ignored everthing she said to her because she is so shy I thought I am sure that she sees just fine and she was just being shy. I had never had eye problems before and neither has her dad so I just figured everything was fine. I scheduled an appointment just to be sure, but I just kept thinking everything was great and we had nothing to worry about. Her appointment was scheduled a month out because they were so busy. Well I took her in last week. After a long evaluation the doctor turned to me and said that she definatly has some problems. She has what is called Lazy eye. She only has 20/50 vision in her left eye. If you cover her right eye she cannot see very well at all. So she lets her right eye do all the work and her left eye has just become lazy. She is also farsighted in both eyes. The doctor said we needed to get her some glasses and we also needed to do some patching with her right eye to make her left one work. She picked out her glasses (which are so stinking cute on her). They are Barbie brand and her case is a hot pink purse. We have ordered a stylish patch and she only has to wear it in the evening and on the weekends. We have done everything we could to make her excited about it.

We picked her glasses up yesterday and it was so funny. When the lady put them on her to adjust them to her head she said,"Mom I can see". It was so cute. So needless to say Thank Goodness for the vision test at school otherwise I would have never known. She thought she could see fine til she got her glasses and realised how well she can see now. She read her book to me last night and I can't believe how much faster she could read. It was AMAZING!!! I love you Lyssa!!! You look so stinking cute in your glasses!!!!

Well my Halloween started with a Halloween Party that Teresa and I threw at Daycare. I forget my camera for that so I will have to still some from Teresa. I dressed up like a witch and she dressed up like a baby doll. I took my girls with me since they were out of school. Hayden and Brandon went fishing instead. Hayden was not to into the whole Hallween thing this year. He was a little to shy for that. All the kids dressed up at daycare and we had a morning filled with fun and games. Teresa and I made witch finger pizza for lunch with bloody mummy toes and grapes peeled for eyeballs. The kids had so much fun with it.

Then I left work a little early that day and sent the kids off at 3:30 with their Dad so he could take them to his work for Trick or Treating. He was so good to work with me this year it was wonderful! He brought them back at about 5:30. It was really his year for Halloween but he made my day when he said I could have them that night. Him and I watched them go around my neighborhood to trick or treat and then I took them to my family party at my Aunt Dianna's house or as my Lys says Aunt Nanny's house. My kids love my Aunt Dianna. She is so good with the kids. She made yummy spaghetti and we watched Ghost Hunters(my favorite show) and we played Rock Band. It was tons of fun!!!!! Thank You Greg and Dianna for a FUN Party!!!

(Life has been so CRAZY busy at my house can you tell I still have summer stuff on my ladder and a 4th of July thing hanging on my door. So sad I don't think I have ever been this behind.)Lys got a cotume at her dads and hated it. The night before Halloween my friend Teresa gave us her daughters costume that she had bought for her that turned out being way to small. So it worked out perfect. Lys loved it! Thanks Teresa!!! Hayden was so shy he would not even wear his full costume.

Hayden got some sugar in him and decided to sword fight my dad guess thats what it takes to take the shyness out of him. Funny Jack and Jack sword fighting.

Happy 18th Birthday Bro

So the 25th of October was my little brother, Joe's 18th Birthday. We went and had dinner with my family to celebrate. Happy Birthday Joe! I Love You!!

Joe is so funny. He hates to talk on the phone and he usually is not very social, but every once in a while I will get a text message from him that says, "hey sis i just wanted 2 tell u that u r the best sister ever". I love it! He kills me. I still don't understand what I do to get that, but I guess I am always there when he needs me.

Girls Day Out....

A couple of weekends ago some friends and I went on a Girls Day out. We went shopping at a bunch of fun places, went to lunch at PF Changs and ended our day at Gardner Village for the Witches Night Out. We had so much fun!!!! Gardner Village was a little too CRAZY for me...but we still had tons of fun! Thank You Nancy for introducing me to some new fun places!Fuji, Misty, Nancy, Me, and Teresa

I am-so lucky to have 3 BEAUTIFUL kids and a wonderful supportive husband!
I want-to live a NORMAL life with my kids.
I have-the best job ever!!! I get to work with one of my best friends and I get to take Hayden with me and my girls when they are not at school like today.
I miss-my kids when they are at their dads.
I feel-overwhelmed
I hear-the tv upstairs and a fan behind me.
I smell-fabric softner cause I am doing laundry.
I crave-sour watermelons.
I cry-with the thought of losing my kids.
I search-for my keys cause Hayden always takes them out of my purse and pretends he is driving a truck.
I wonder-if life will ever get easier.
I regret-not taking more home videos of my family in the last few years.
I love-my FAMILY and close FRIENDS.
I care-what people think and I wish I didn't so much.
I worry-to much!!!
I remember-the birth of my children and what MIRACLES they are.
I believe-in CARMA. (I think you know who is getting his now)
I dance-all the time when I am alone or sometimes when I am with my kids.
I don't-go to the dentist as much as I should.(Not cause I hate clean teeth but cause i hate dentist offices.)
I argue-more than I should. I would be alot better off if I didn't.
I write-lists for everything. Some how it makes me feel better at times.
I win-when I play pool with Brandon and my in-laws. NOT! I actually really suck and just laugh at myself most the time. But hey at least I have fun.
I lose-socks everytime I wash them. I swear I have so many unmatching socks but I don't ever find their mates. I honestly think my washer eats them.
I wish-I could protect my kids from this crazy world.
I listen-to music every chance I get. I love music.
I can -usually be found feeding a baby, singing songs at circle time, painting my house, or doing homework with my kids. So I guess sometimes it would be hard to find me.
I am scared-of life and facing the challenges that I do everyday.
I need- about 20 extra hours in the day.
I forget-something I need everytime I go to the Grocerie Store. I even forget the list I wrote for myself.
I am happy-that I found someone who would love my kids like they were his own.

So life is pretty crazy at our house right now! I don't have much time to post anything. I have not done a post in a while, but I just wanted to do a quick little post.... Our Trip to Grandmas House

Last Sunday we went to visit Grandma Blackburn in Malad. It was so nice to visit with her. We have not seen her in a while. She is such a sweet lady. She is so good to our kids. She just loves them. She is going blind and can't see well so we took her to the park for the day cause she never gets out of the house. I think she enjoyed the fresh air and watching what she could and hearing the kids having fun.

Peach Days Weekend

I went up and stayed overnight at my parents house on Friday before Peach Days. And of course I did not have my kids for Peach Days again!!!!!!! My Ex is definately very selfish and not easy to work with at times. I have not had them for Peach Days since we got divorced and I hate it! The kids wanted to come with me so BAD but of course its not about the kids its about who's in control of the situation. I just want what is best for them. But anyway, I enjoyed seeing many friends and I loved sitting with my family and playing with me neices and nephews at the parade. Saturday afternoon I was able to go see my Best Friend Tara at her parents house and visit with her for a while. It was so nice to talk to her and see her and her GORGEOUS kids. We have so so much history together and I just love her. She has the cutest little baby boy, Jensen and I just loved holding him. I wanted to take him home with me so bad! I enjoyed watching her cute little girl, Reese. She has such a cute personality, and she is such a free little spirit. I didn't get to see Kennadee much cause she went to the car show with dad. At least I got to enjoy somebodies kids that weekend.

Then Saturday night Brandon and I went to Idaho to get the motorhome for the winter. And what a night! Our motorhome had mice in it cause it is getting cold. We found one dead one that had made a nest with the fur on Alyssa's coat. CRAZY!!! But through out the night Brandon and I could not sleep cause all we could hear was mice running around and chewing on things. I have the BIGGEST fear of mice so I just could not handle it. Tara knows how terrified of mice I am. When I lived in Brigham and Lilly was a baby I saw a mouse in my dining room while I was talking to Tara on the phone. She told me her mom had some traps and she would bring them up. I made her climb through my window in the living room cause my front door was locked and I was not going to go unlock it. They just are so fast and creepy to me. They were in our ceiling of the motorhome so we couldn't get to them. Needless to say we got no sleep that night. So the motorhome is full of traps now and I just hope we can get them all out soon.

First Day of School

Well it was the girls first day of school Monday. They were so cute! They were definately ready to go back. They loved their teachers which is wonderful cause I don't think Lilly liked hers last year. Hayden was so funny, he had to take his back pack with us when we went to the school. He thought he was a pretty cool! And what can I say....he is.

This year getting ready for school is quite the challenge. I am watching my friend Laura's girls in the morning. She has to be to work by 4:30 so her girls come over about 4:10 and climb back in bed with my girls. But then when it is time to get them ready....Wow 5 girls in the bathroom getting ready all at once, what a CHALLENGE!!! It is like an assembly line when it comes to doing hair. Then I take them all to school at about 8:35 and I head to work with Hayd and I have to be there at 9. So wow my life is pretty CRAZY in the mornings. And its almost like having 2 sets of twins cause they are all around the same age as my girls. Hopefully we will get a good system down soon.

So today is Brandon and I's 1 Year Anniversary! I can't believe it has already been a year and yup the weather is AWESOME today. Isn't that the way it usually happens?! We still had fun at our wedding even though it rained. Everyone that attended said it was definatley an unforgetable day.

So last night Brandon took me to Anniversary Inn in Logan and we got Olive Garden take out to take with us. We stayed in the Hollywood Romance Theater. We love to watch movies so thats why he chose that room. It was lots of fun. I definately would go back to the Anniversary Inn in Logan before I would go back to the one in SLC. I loved the chair they had to sit in and watch movies. I most definatley will have one at our house one day. It was so comfy and the two of us fit in it perfectly. Brandon got me the cutest watches that my friend Nancy makes. He got me a white one with a clear and silver band, a brown one, and a red and brown one. They are so so cute! I gave Brandon a hat that he has been wanting and a fancy 3rd brake light he wanted for his truck.

Wow lots has been going on....I went to my friend Emily (Ream) Kawa's baby shower last Saturday. Our friend Tina through it for her and she is so fun and creative. She made the cutest little advice book (that I forgot to write in sorry Em I will). It was so good to see Em she has always been such a good friend to me. We used to do everything together. I used to go see her every week in logan right after the divorce when i was going to counseling. And now that she lives in Logan and I in Clinton we don't see each other much. She is so cute pregnant she could be one of those pregnant models for cute maternity clothes. I miss you Em and can't wait to see the little one. You and Kenji will be such AWESOME parents. Good Luck with the delivery I love you!!! It was also so good to see Tina too. We became friends through Emily and she is such a fun, sweet girl. Tina has the cutest little girl. When we went camping a couple of weeks ago I met my friend Laura at Bear Lake and we let the kids swim for the day. Her girls didn't know we were coming so they were so excited to see us. We had lots of fun that day. The kids loved building sand castles with motes around them. I took Hayden out to swim on a raft. He loved the things that made us go up and down (waves). It took me a while to explain to him what waves were. He was so cute and fun. The girls loved to follow us out on their own rafts. I love my kids! They bring so much joy and fun to my life.

I swear I don't know what I was thinking having all my kids born within 10 days of each other.
Oh well! It was Lilly's Birthday on July 13th she turned 10, Alyssa's Birthday on July 23rd she turned 6, and Hayden's Birthday on August 5th and he turned 4. Wow! See what I mean about Birthdays? Its also Brandon's Mom's Birthday on the 23rd with Alyssas. So we have just been doing alot of partying and shopping in the past month. All three of the kids got a new trampoline for their Birthdays plus an individual present for each one of them. Lilly wanted to go shopping at Justice for Girls just cause I never buy her anything there cause it is way to expensive. So I let her do it just for her Birthday. Then after Alyssa saw all the cute stuff Lilly got she decided she wanted to do that too. Anytime you asked Hayden what he wanted all he could say was a 'bue ipod'. So thats what he got. Also my parents gave Alyssa a MP3 player and Lilly already had one. So my kids are just rocking out listening to their ipods. Hayden can't figure out that he doesn't need to talk louder when he is listening to it. So he just walks around yelling everything to us. He is so funny! So we have had a busy summer. Plus we go camping almost every weekend so I am a little worn out right about now. (I will add more pics when my dad sends them) Happy Birthday Kids!!! I Love You!!!

So while I was doing my last post Brandon lit a firecracker(M80) right by the window of the office, which was right by my ear. It was so loud my ears were ringing. So after I got mad at him he told me to come outside. This was what I came out to. He had wrote this on the driveway with gunpowder and when I got out there he lit it on fire for me and then said he was sorry. What a dork! I love him though. He was the one that lit the field on fire when he was a kid. Can you tell? I just had to share. It was kind of cute.

We went camping up to Bear Lake at the property for the 4th of July. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast. It was nice to get away for a while. It is so pretty up there. I wanted our pictures taken in these beautiful sunflowers. We are all in camping attire but oh well! We left our motorhome up there so we can go back more often and not spend so much on gas. I can't believe the gas prices right now. I know it has been forever since I blogged so i have so much catching up to do. We just have been so busy lately. And we leave to go camping again in the morning.

A Family Party and A Day Bed...

So I decided Walmart.com takes forever. My daybed finally came Friday but we just had it shipped to the store in Clinton. It took two weeks for it to get there from the warehouse in Hurricane, Utah. Then it sat at the store for 2 days when I finally called them and we didn't get the e-mail telling us it was here til Sunday. So at that point it would have been at the store for 4 days before they notified us it was there. I am so glad I called them and they told me they had it. So ridiculus.... Anyway ya i was just a little anxious to get it. I just wanted to be able to enjoy it a little bit before the summer was over. So Brandon and I put it together Friday night. I love it! It looks so good. Brandon was a little worried about the green cause he doesn't like green, but he said it looks much better in person. So yay, all of you need to come over for a barbeque at our house now. Thanks for the bed honey!

I also had a family party at Pioneer Park in Brigham on Saturday and then we went swimming after. It was lots of fun. I got to see some of my family I don't get to see very often. Brandon had to work and it was Kevin's weekend with the kids so I just went alone. I just hung out with my brothers and my dad. It was nice to have some time with just them. I had fun watching my neice and nephews swim too. Jackson was so brave, he went down the big slide by himself. Anyway no pictures of swimming. My mom took some but I didn't like them so much sorry.

Last Saturday (the 14th) was my 28th BIRTHDAY! It also was my Grandma's 80th Birthday. So it was a very busy weekend. Saturday we had a party at The Lodge to celebrate my grandmas birthday. The kids had fun and enjoyed spending time with the family. They love their cousins and don't see them often so it was a lot of fun. Then Brandon and I played games with his parents that night. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday we had a barbeque at Brandon's parents to celebrate my Birthday. My parents and little brother came down and all of Brandon's family came. My father-in-law is the best cook ever. He always make sthe best food and I would rather him barbeque then go out to eat anywhere. I wish the kids could have been there but their DAD would not let them come!

Just a little story of how great Brandon is.....
Brandon is the best husband ever. He had wanted a new grill so bad and we were planning on getting him one the night before my birthday. When I told him lets go get you a grill he said no I need to get other stuff more important first and I said like what he proceeded to tell me he bought me this outdoor daybed that I have been wanting for our deck and that he was going to get Hayden a new car seat because he was in need of a new one. He has been getting so tall he is growing out of his other one. So after he bought all the other stuff he didn't have enough to buy himself a grill for Fathers Day. I knew he was a little down about it but he sacrificed his grill to get me the bed I had wanted, for my Birthday and Hayden a car seat. (And that's not the first time he has sacrificed for me and the kids. He does it a lot.) I then decided I would take all my Birthday money and get him a grill. Well when we went to his parents on Saturday night of my birthday his parents told him they wanted him to have his Father's Day present a little early. They took us out to their garage to find they had bought Brandon a really nice grill for Father's Day. Wow how emotional I was. Brandon just stood there in shock. They are so proud of him for taking on me and my three kids and being a wonderful DAD to them. I STRONGLY believe in CARMA and I believe that he got some pretty dang good CARMA for the sacrifice he made. I have a wonderful husband and an awesome family. His parents are so AMAZING! THANK YOU Kim and STEVE!

So we got a patio set of table and chairs with my birthday money. YAY! And I am so EXCITED to get my bed you have no idea. He had to order it so I hope it will be here soon. Thank You honey for being so wonderful to me!!! Happy Fathers Day! And Thank You everyone for a GREAT BIRTHDAY!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We were suppossed to go to my in-laws property up in Idaho (it's about 20 minutes from Bearlake) and camp for the weekend but it was just too cold and muddy still. But we all took a drive up there on Saturday since we had never been up there before. They bought it the end of the summer last year. They have 10 acres and Brandon's aunt has 10 acres right next to them. It is so beautiful up there but so so muddy still. I'm so glad we didn't attempt it with our motorhome. Our truck was covered in mud when we got there because Brandon has mudder tires on it. Steve's truck didn't look so bad. The kids had fun in the mud though.

Brandon's crazy brothers were sifting for gold in the creek. It was way to cold for that.

This picture has a little story behind it...on the way up we passed this little area of a bunch of little log cabin looking houses and Brandon made a comment that we were probably on the Oregon Trail and thats probably where the pioneers lived. And about 20 minutes later we passed a sign that said Oregon/California Trail so it was the big joke Brandon was right but he really had no idea. We went to eat at Artic Circle in Montpeliar and this center was acrossed the street so I had to take a picture.

We went to my Grandparents house on Memorial Day for a barbeque and Lilly was so excited that my cousin Jess came with her family. She loves Hadley. They played a bunch of games.

Alyssa has been tagged......I am going to combine this a little with a post I was planning on sharing already so here goes-

So a couple of nights ago I had been at work for about an hour when I got a phone call from Brandon informing me that the DVD player had fallen on Alyssa's head and that her head didn't look very good. He said it had split her head open and there is blood everywhere. No one at home knew at that point why the DVD player fell off her dresser and on to her head, but I just knew I needed to get home quick. When I got home my mother-in-law was at our house and just holding Alyssa with a rag on her head. She showed me her head and informed me that it wouldn't stop bleeding so I called my doctor luckily they were in til 8 but my doctor was not there, but to bring her in and they will take care of her. So we all got in the car and took Lys to the doctor in Kaysville. They cleaned her up cause not kidding it looked like we had put a red dye on her hair. They were actually able to glue the split, thank goodness and they just wanted us to keep an eye on her for fear of a concussion. We found out later that night that they had there V-Smile plugged into the dvd player and when she went running into her room she tripped on the cords and it pulled the dvd player right out and onto her head. So she is doing well now. She is a little sensitive about washing her hair in that area and it kind of sucks cause her hair parts really funny cause it won't part where the glue is. Oh Well they said it will dissolve in about a week so....We are so glad she is ok and doing better.

Anyway so fIvE things about our Alyssa:

~She was my SCARIEST baby ever. When she was born they were having troubles keeping her oxygen levels up. I just remember Lilly hogging her and not letting me hold her. When the nurse came in and said she was purple and they were taking her to the nursery. I was released twelve hours later when my doctor came in and told me that she had pneumonia and that the spot that was on her lungs had been there for a while and they were life flighting her to McKay Dee where they could take care of her better. I was so terrified! The Primary Childrens hospital crew came to transfer her. Lilly and I cried when they put an IV in her hand and took her away. After a week of trials and problems they finally told me they were releasing her. You have no idea how excited I was to hear those words. I was so tired of sleeping in the hospital bed and I just wanted to take her home. But she did have to come home with oxygen and an APNEA monitor for 6 weeks. It was so scary but we did it and we are so glad to have her today. You really do take for granted when you have a healthy baby.

~She is my DRAMA queen. If someone is not paying attention to her she will come up with some sort of drama til you are. She is also so MOODY! She can be so happy one minute and so pouty the next just like someone flipped a switch. But she can really be a sweetheart though.

~She loves ART. She will never get bored as long as you have some paper and some crayons. She also is a very good reader and loves to go to school. She is so smart!

~ Her BEST FRIEND is Maya. She loves Maya. They spend pretty much everyday together. If Maya isn't at our house Lys is at hers. They are such good friends and they get along so well. WE are so glad Lys has such a fun good friend. They will call each other before school to find out what the other one is wearing so they can match. It is so CUTE!

~Alyssa's nicknames are Lys, Lyssers, or Lyssy.

WE love Lys and are so happy to have her in our lives. We are so blessed to have such a special little girl. She is such a good sister and her brother looks up to her so much!

My Lys is such the artist. That is her favorite thing to do EVER, ART!!!! For her 5th birthday Brandon and I got her a desk and everyone else got her art stuff cause she loves to do it so much. She gets so seriuos when she does it. Sometimes its a BIG headache for Brandon and I cause she tends to make a huge mess when doing ART projects. But she is very good at it I will have to admit. This morning she brought out these two flowers for me. She had colored them and the butterflies and then cut them out and pasted the butterflies on the flowers. I was so impressed with how well she is doing with scissors. She is getting so SMART! She read me The Foot Book today and she did so awesome! I love her!

HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!

So it was Brandon's 25th Birthday yesterday. We had a party Saturday and Sunday for it, but he wouldn't let me take any pictures of him. He has been so sick for the past couple of weeks, and is even on an anti-biotic and it still is not doing anything for him. So he just wasn't up for any pictures.

So last night the kids were going with their dad and we were going to go to Dinner for his Birthday and going to get a movie to watch. Well Kevin comes to pick up the kids after taking them out to his car he comes back in my house to tell me Hayden locked the keys in his car. So he asked me to get a hanger for him cause he has ZERO dollars to his name to call a locksmith. Well in the meen time Brandon's cousin Ryan shows up to bring him a present and to see him. Kevin had just had the cast taken off his hand and it was really sore so he had one hand to do it with. So he sends the kids in to get Brandon. To make a long story short 2 hours later I was calling locksmiths to find the cheapest one and Brandon comes in to get the kids cause they finally got it. WOO HOO!

Brandon and Ryan were so good to help him. But what a FUN birthday for Brandon! We went and got dinner late last night and after about 30 min of the movie we were too tired to finish and went to bed. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! I LOVE YOU! Thanks for being so WONDERFUL!

Grandma Kim loves Peeps. So we let the kids decorate Peep eggs for Grandma Kim for Easter. They had a lot of fun and it was fun to see them get creative. Then a couple nights later we colored eggs. Brandon was so cute cause Lilly wanted a two tone egg so he was trying so hard to get creative on making a two toned egg. Such a good DAD!!

So 13 years ago Lish and I decided to throw a surprise Birthday Party for Tara at the Zions Bank basement. We gave out tons of invitations at school and told them not to tell Tara. So Lish and I went through tons of planning and couldn't wait to surprise Tara that night. We told her we would go to the movie that night with her to celebrate her Birthday in hopes she would get fixed up for this huge party we had planned for her. Her mom had just taken her Birthday shopping and she had got tons of new clothes (like she needed it, she had the best wardrobe you could ever want) but Tara being the fun and crazy girl she was she suddenly decided that we should all wear our "jammies" to the movies. Lish and I were freaking out. We could not let Tara show up at her surprise party in her jammies. It took a while of convincing, but we finally got her to wear her new clothes. So the plan was Tara's mom was taking us to the movies, but before we went Tara's mom told her we needed to drop some tax information off in the basement of Zions Bank cause some people down there were doing her taxes for her. And conveniently she needed Tara to run it in for her. So the plan was we would honk when we got there so everyone at the party knew we were there. Jill honked and yelled there's Aunt Danna and waved. Tara was like oh my gosh Mom that was not her. Its not even her car. We just laughed. So Tara got out of the car and we followed close behind. She walked in, everybody yelled surprise and she walked back out. Of course we made her go back in. But what a FUN night that was. The boys in our grade were so crazy and funny we just had a blast. ALYSSA GOT A PERM!!!

So yesterday after school I PERMED Alyssa's hair. It turned out so CUTE! I know it seems kind of eightys to perm her hair, but it just doesn't stay very good. She usually looks pretty hammered by the end of the day. She was excited and wanted me to do it though. We started at 2:45 and didn't get done with it til 6:00. I did a spiral perm so they always take LONGER. I felt so bad cause she has a terrible COLD right now which makes her so miserable. When i put the perm solution in her hair she was screaming that she was going to die or throw up. Then after we got done she said, "That wasn't so bad Mom". I just laughed. But by the time we were done she was so BEAT! She was so cute cause even though she was so tired she still wanted to go to the grocery store with me (I think she wanted to show off her new hair do to everyone). But when we got home she didn't want what we were having for dinner so I made her some macaroni and cheese and she didn't even make it through half the bowl before she was out. Poor thing! She was trying so hard to stay awake. She is such my SWEET little Lys. I love her!

"My Hubby month"

So this month is his Birthday March 31st, it's St. Patricks Day and my hubby is Irish, we got Engaged on March 6th last year, so this is my Lucky hubby month. I am so so Lucky to have him in my life. I am going to try to do as many posts this month about things I am Lucky to have.

Brandon is absolutely AMAZING to me! He would do anything for me and the kids. He took me and my 3 kids into his home without any hesitation. When my World was turned upside down my mom just kept telling me that Good things do come out of bad and to be Patient and I will figure out what that good thing was. It only took 5 months to figure out what that good thing was and I would have to definately say it was Brandon.

When my cousin Jane called me late one night, 5 days after Kevin left, and convinced me to move to her house in Kaysville and live in her beautiful basement she had just finished I know she was truly Inspired. I would have never met Brandon if I didn't. If I didn't move to Kaysville I would have never went to DATC where I met Brandon's cousin that hooked us up.

Without him I would seriously be living on the streets. You have no idea how Hard it is to live on your own with 3 kids with no money just all of our belongings. He Sacrifices so much for us it Amazes me!

For the past couple of weeks Lilly has been working on her Science Project for the Science Fair. I can't believe she is old enough to do the Science Fair. But with the help of me, Brandon, and her dad we were able to get it all put together. We had to do three containers of water with different salt levels. Then put the packets of brine shrimp eggs in it and watch them hatch. We came to the conclusion that brine shrimp will not survive in less than 32% salt to water. So the Science Fair was Friday. We were up late Thursday finishing up final touches. Her dad came over at 7 in the morning and we still had some stuff to finish up. He helped us hurry and finish and he took her to school to help her set up. When Lilly got home from school that afternoon she said to me "Mom I didn't get anything," I told her it's ok sweetie we will try harder next year, now that we know what we are doing. She went back to her bedroom and then came out with a huge smile on her face and screamed, "I am going to the DISTRICT, I got FIRST place"(little stinker thought she would tease me). I was so excited for her. Sometimes Lilly struggles with everything that has gone on in her life so that was something that really meant a lot to her. I want her to know that her family is very proud of her and that we love her very much. GOOD LUCK at district Lilly!

The other day when I got in the shower I made Hayden stay in the bathroom with me and told him to color a picture. Half way through my shower I decided to peak out and check on him. I had just cut Brandon's hair a couple days prior and I had to put my trimmers on the charger cause they were dead. So I didn't think anything about it and had them charging on the bathroom counter. I had told Hayden earlier in the day that we needed to cut his hair. Well he took it in his own hands and tried doing it for me. Thanks for the help Hayden, but thats not quite what I was looking for. I don't think it was what he was looking for either cause for the first couple of days he was very self-concious about it. He wore a beanie everywhere we went and would only take it off at home. Not even at Grandma and Grandpas house. He would cry if you tried taking it off. So we have a "NEW DO" not to forget its the middle of WINTER. Kids, you got to love them.

I LOVE HIM! He kills me! He has been begging my dad to take him duck hunting for a while so he took him last weekend. My dad said he had never been asked so many questions in his life. He just took him to Mayors Pond in Brigham cause he knew there would be alot of ducks Hayden could pretend he was shooting at. Hayden got a "play"gun for Christmas and it actually opens up and has fake shells in it. It also makes the sounds that guns make. He thinks he's so cool with it. After he had been shooting for a while he said to my dad "Papa all the ducks are dead and I'm all out of shells so lets get our ducks and go home". My dad then told Hayden that he didn't wear his boots so he couldn't go get the ducks and Hayden told him they better go home and get them. So anyway....My dad is training him early. Such the imagination!

Well Christmas was a crazy time for us. I worked everynight the week priar to Christmas til 1:00 AM. Although I had Friday night off. We went to Brandons moms on Friday and Santa Clause came to see the kids. Hayden talks about Santa all the time. He loves Santa. He asked me if we could go to the hospital and get a new baby and name him Santa. But when it come time to seeing Santa NO WAY! He was having nothing to do with it. But after Santa left he liked him again. Then Saturday I had to be at work at 5:30 AM again. Got off work on Saturday came home changed and went to Brigham for a family party. We left Brigham about 8 and went to Morgan to Brandons uncles house. We stayed there and played ping pong til 1 AM. The kids love to go there cause Brandons uncle has the cutest little boy thats name is Blaise. He is 6 and so funny. His moms name is Kami also so he always thinks thats funny. When we walked in Blaise looked at his mom and said, "Mom say hi to Kami". He thought he was so funny. He loves Lilly and calls her his girl. Their house is a kids dream house. We came home from Morgan in a terrible snow storm. We woke up early the next morning got ready and went to Malad to see Brandon's grandma. Came home about 5:30. Got home worked on the house a little. Got up Monday morning ran around all day while the kids stayed home with Brandon and watched Christmas movies with him. Went to Brandon's Grandmas in Clearfield Christmas eve and we got in the terrible snow storm(guess I got my white Christmas I was dreaming of). Opened presents there then went to Brandon's moms and opened Jammies. By the way the kids dad took them shopping and bought me my cute jammies I have on in the pictures and the slippers. Thanks kids. Love them! Then we got up Christmas morning and my parents and brother and Brandon's parents and brother came to watch the kids open Santa presents! Wow the kids got spoiled! I think I will definatley cut back next year. Between grandparents and Santa WOW! They all got what they wanted and more except Lilly got a laptop and when we opened it and tried to set it up it would not turn on. So after spending a day on the phone being placed on hold they are sending Lilly a new laptop. But it could take up to 20 business days. So Lilly has to wait for her big gift. But anyway we made a big breakfast for everyone and the kids left with their dad at 10 AM. So I spent the rest of the day cleaning up garbage and oragnizing bedrooms with new toys. SO..... hope everybody had a fun, exciting, and safe Christmas! Happy New Year!

THE CHRISTMAS PARTY

I have to apologize I have been a terrible blogger lately. I have been working so many hours at work its making me crazy. We had a family Christmas party at my brothers house in Lehi on Saturday evening and just so you have an idea of how tired I was at it, I worked Friday night til 1:30 A.M. and had to be back at work at 5:30 A.M. to open. So sorry if I look terrible in the pics. I was so tired. But we had alot of fun. Megan made homemade pizza and we played lots of games. One of them she made us wear a scarf and oven mitts when we rolled a four on the dice and we had to try to unwrap a present she had wrapped like 50 times. It was quite funny to watch, but Brandon never rolled a four so Megan finally changed it to roll a six at the end cause thats what he kept rolling and then he rolled a four. Alyssa won that game but was too shy for the pics. Then we played a game that we had to divide in two teams and decorate one person on our team like a Christmas Tree. I got stuck with my brother and Dad and they got quite perverted. My nephew couldn't figure out why they hung blue christmas balls between my brother Joes legs. It was pretty comical. Brandon and my Moms team won at decorating Lilly. Then we watched Polar Express. The weather was terrible on the way down and before we left my two brothers went out to plow the driveway. They got a lot more snow than we did at home. But it ws fun to get together and play games to celebrate Christmas. Thanks Megan for all your hardwork at planning a fun Christmas Party.

Hayden wanted me to play with him this morning so I told him I would. When I went in his room to play I couldn't resist taking pictures. He was wearing Brandon's safety glasses from work with his beanie underneath them and he told me that he was going to work and he wanted me to go with him. So he made me pretend like I was getting in his little truck and he drove us to work making sound effects as we were driving. Then we proceeded with our day at work. When we were done at work he drove us home. He told me on our way home we were going duck hunting with Papa Chris. We got our guns and went duck hunting. He got his little mallard and stood up on his bed pretending it was flying then yelled shoot it mom shoot it. Well when I tried shooting it he told me I didn't make the sound. So i had to make the bang bang sound. I was laughing so hard. He dropped the mallard on the ground and said good job you got it Mom. Wow what an imagination he has! (Alyssa felt bad and wanted me to take a picture of her too.)

Brandon and I took the kids out to trick-or-treat. We went door to door around our neighborhood and I havn't done that since I was a kid. I always took the kids to Boo Fest in Brigham. So it actually was alot of fun and we saw alot of cute little kids with cute costumes. Hayden was so funny. He was dressed up like a dog and we walked by a house and this dog started barking so Hayden started growling back at him. It was so cute! I think when Alyssa is in her costume she is a totally different girl. I don't know if the costume puts her in disguise, but she is so much more outgoing than normal. Lilly is so good with her brother and sister. She was making sure they all got the same amount of candy at each house. She takes care of them so well. She will be a good mom someday. We also went to Grandma Kim and Papa Steve's house to trick-or-treat and they went around their neighborhood with us. It was alot of fun. Hayden would run to the door and then run back and want Grandma Kim to hold him. Thank You to our friend Marlene for making such a cute Dorothy costume for Lilly. And Thank You to Megan(my sister-in-law) for letting me borrow the dog costume for Hayden. (We had to hurry and get this posted for Grandma Deenie and Papa Chris that hate not being able to see the kids on Halloween the kids miss not seeing them too.)

Halloween Parties

We had a Halloween Party at Grandma and Grandpa Wight's House on Saturday night and we carved pumpkins with Brandon's family on Sunday night. Yes, we did have a busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun. Hayden was really tired at the Wight party and he fell asleep right before we carved pumpkins on Sunday so he was pretty upset that he missed out.

Woo Hoo! Hannah Montana Concert

Well we went to the Hannah Montana Concert on Friday night and it was a BLAST! When we first found out that Hannah Montana was coming in Concert on Saturday, Oct27th, we tried to get tickets cause Lilly wanted to go so bad, but we just couldn't see paying what they wanted for the tickets so yes Lilly was bummed. All she could talk about was how bad she wanted to see Hannah Montana! So Brandon found out Hannah Montana had decided to also come in concert Friday, Oct 26th to film her 3D movie. So Brandon immediately called me to tell me. We agreed that we needed to get tickets. So Brandon was able to buy 4 tickets to the concert. We surprised Lilly by buying her and Alyssa Hannah Montana outfits and wrapped them for Christmas (obviously they got there Christmas early). So when they opened them Brandon told them that they could wear their new outfits to the Hannah Montana concert that they were going to on Friday and Lilly FREAKED OUT! She was so excited she couldn't stand it. Alyssa was excited too, but not as excited as Lilly. So my mom, Alyssa, Lilly, and I went. We seriously had so much fun. And the concert had a lot of extras because they did film it for Hannah Montana's movie. We had really good seats too so that made it funner for the girls. Lilly was jumping and screaming the whole night. She asked me to stand up and dance with her and when I did she said, "You can sit down now Mom you are embarrasing me". But when she saw the mom dancing behind us she said I'm glad shes not my mom and she told me I could stand up and dance with her again. Wow that made me feel good! But it was an AMAZING concert. Thank you to Brandon who paid for all of us to go and have fun. Him and Hayden had a boys night out.
